OCEANIA Rugby’s Participation and Pathway manager Tihrani Uluinakauvadra was awarded the Oceania Rugby’s Most Valued Team Member Award at the 2018 Staff Planning Workshop held in Sydney, Australia on Thursday.

“It came as a surprise to me,” Uluinakauvadra said.

“I am honoured to be the first recipient of the award.

“I am very grateful and thankful to be the first recipient and this has motivated me to work even harder.”

Oceania Rugby’s general manager Bruce Cook commended Uluinakavaudra for his commitment to Oceania Rugby.

“Tihrani works extremely well at the highest level of union administration from chief executive officers, development officers, community volunteers, schools and children,” Cook said.

Cook said Oceania Rugby staff were reviewed on how closely they worked with one another, as well as multiple stakeholders.
