Trial for mother on murder charge moved to July

A WOMAN charged with one count of murder will have her trial heard before the High Court in Suva on July 8.

Rozleen Razia Khan appeared before judge Justice Vincent Perera today.

It is alleged Mrs Khan killed her 4-year-old daughter on May 6, 2018.

It is alleged she drove a car into the Rewa River which caused the death of her daughter.

State lawyer Susan Serukai advised the court that the State would be proceeding with the same charges of murder.

The case has been adjourned to April 10 for a pre-trial conference.
