A ONE-year-old boy died earlier this week in Votualevu, Nadi, after he drowned in a fish pond.
According to the family members, the child was under the care of two men when he wandered into the fish pond.
His father Tomasi Fabiano Chute said his son went missing around 5pm on Wednesday.
He said they later found him in the pond after a frantic search.
Police confirmed a post-mortem examination was carried out earlier this week.
