Update: 3:31PM THE Vodafone Suva football team suffered a 2-0 defeat against Team Wellington in their first match of the 2016 OFC Champions League at the QBE Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand.
After holding their opposition to a nil-all at the half time some mistakes saw Suva conceding two goals in the lapse of 10 minutes in the second half.
The Gurjit Singh-coached side got a golden opportunity to score in the 81st minute but strike Rusiate Matarerega’s shot went off target.
Meanwhile, Nadi lost to Tahiti’s AS Tafena 6-1 yesterday.
