The NewWorld Suva Netball Association finals were a major success, with a total of 50 games played at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva on Monday.
The competition, which began in June, saw a record number of 79 teams registered to participate in the weekly games.
In the finals, Angel’s grade Ablaze Angles Red emerged victorious over Tagimoucia Jasper with a score of 11-8, while Roses grade Grasshoppers Netters defeated Ablaze Roses.
Princess grade Lomaiviti Green triumphed over Ablaze Red with a score of 19-10, and Development grade Grasshoppers Ferns secured a win against Lomaiviti Koro Green with a score of 29-21.
In the higher divisions, the Premier grade saw Army beating Huva Stallions 42-24, while in the Super grade Lomaiviti Ovalau emerged victorious over Flames with a score of 55-44.
In the Major grade, Lomaiviti Maloi fell to CBM Sharks with a close score of 31-30, and in the Queens grade, Lomaiviti Batiki defeated Ablaze Queen with a score of 21-17.
Overall, the finals were a thrilling conclusion to the season for all teams involved.
