The NewWorld Suva Netball Association is currently in the process of registering teams for their upcoming Business House competition.

With a total of 24 teams set to participate, the competition is scheduled to run for a duration of 10 weeks.

Thus far, 10 teams have already registered, but the association is actively encouraging more companies to join before the deadline next week.

According to association secretary Raijieli Rabitu, participation from business house teams has been slow due to their busy schedules.

However, the main goal of the competition is not focused on competitiveness, but rather on promoting a healthy lifestyle and providing an opportunity for individuals to come together and enjoy some leisure time.

“We are looking to hit the 24 teams by next week. Usually the aim of the competition is for people to come out an enjoy, it’s not for competitiveness. For the companies to come out and to enjoy some free time,” said Rabitu.

“The competition also is a chance for employees to break out of their office routines and engage in physical activity, while also establishing new connections and fostering friendships.”

Businesses in Suva and Nausori are invited to register for the competition, as the association is still accepting entries.

The matches will be held twice a week, for a duration of 10 weeks, promising an exciting and engaging experience for all participants.

Rabitu encourages interested companies to take part in the Suva Netball competition for a fun and rewarding experience for their employees.
