Stranded Indian nationals evacuated

Indian nationals who were stranded in Fiji have been evacuated on a special flight.

India’s High Commissioner to Fiji, Ms Padmaja was at the Nadi airport to farewell the 67 passengers.

The passengers underwent medical checks before boarding the Garuda Airways flight.

The flight went to Papua New Guinea to pick up Indian nationals there before heading to New Delhi.
