A SKILLS program for young rugby players identified as possible future Flying Fijians will be held in Suva next week.

Conducted by the Fiji Rugby Union’s (FRU) high performance unit, the program is a pathway to develop under-14, U15, U16 and U17 players into a professional environment.

“These age grade players will have a lot of learn during their program FRU chief executive officer John O’Connor said.

“We will also keep monitoring these players so that they are ready to represent Fiji in any age grade competition next year or in future.”

The players were selected by HPU coaches who were present during the Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union zone competitions and the Vodafone Deans finals.

The program will be held on Wednesday and Thursday.
