Singh is new acting CEO for Consumer Council

A NEW acting chief executive officer for the Consumer Council of Fiji has been appointed by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism.

Seymour Singh has assumed his duties at the office from today.

The appointment was made known by Consumer Council of Fiji chairman Raman Dahia in a media statement.

The council’s CEO post had been left vacant after predecessor Premila Kumar had resigned earlier this year to pursue politics.

Mr Dahia said the Board of Directors had welcomed Mr Singh’s appointment and wishes to advice interested applicants that the position of Consumer Council CEO will be advertised tomorrow, October 13, 2018.

Mr Singh was the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC).
