The Kaiviti Silktails rugby league side defeated the Eastwood Hawks 30-16 in a round seven match of the 2022 Ron Massey Cup in Australia yesterday.

The Silktails outscored their opponents five tries to three.

Forward Meli Nasau scored a brace of tries while Sunia Naruma and Manasa Kalou grabbed a try each.

Dillion Logen, Alofipo Reginald and Radovu Samuel scored a try each for the opponents.

This was the first win for the Silktails in four matches.

The Silktails play the Wentworthvill Magpies in its next match at 4pm this Sunday.
