THE work of The Fiji Times senior photographer Rama has earned him the Photograph of the Year during the 2019 Fiji Sports Awards at the Vodafone Arena in Suva on Saturday night.

The photographer has added the award to his trophy cabinet at home after capturing lanky Nawaka lad Meli Derenalagi being tackled by an Australian player during the New Zealand 7s in Hamilton last year.

Rama dedicated his win to his family, especially his wife Roshana Bibi and The Fiji Times for allowing him to cover the World Rugby Sevens Series in Hong Kong in 2017 and the 2019 and 2020 NZ 7s. |
