SGS netters dominate secondary schools netball competition

SUVA Grammar School dominated this year’s Fiji Secondary Schools Netball Competition after winning the under 15, 17 and 19 grades at the National Netball Centre in Suva this weekend.

The schools under 14 side, however, was defeated by Adi Cakobau School in the final.

The SGS under 19 side defeated Adi Cakobau School 39-37 at extra time.

The under-15 side defeated Adi Cakobau School 27-25, and the under 17 side won against St Joseph’s Secondary School 27-22.

Under 14: ACS 31-29 SGS

Under 15: SGS 27-25 ACS

Under 17: SGS 27-22 SJSS

Under 19: SGS 39-37 ACS

Open Grade:

Nabala Secondary School won most games in the round-robin competition for this grade.

Vunimono High School 31-28 Ratu Navula College
