Minister for Rural and Maritime Development and Disaster Management Inia Seruiratu toured parts of the Central Division yesterday.
As part of yesterday’s program, Mr Seruiratu visited the districts of Muaira, Noemalu and Nadaravakawalu in the interior of Naitasiri to follow-up on a few key projects funded and implemented by Government within the province.
These included community access road projects linking some of the most remote rural communities in the province.
“Naitasiri province is an important and big contributor to the economy and for our food security, and that is why it’s important that access is provided for the people. We want to ensure that no one is left behind,” Mr Seruiratu said.
