Fiji’s Supervisor of Elections Mohammad Saneem says he will be taking action against those who have spread rumours that he had resigned.
“It’s fake news,” said Mr Saneem.
“We will consider taking some actions which we will be making public in a few hours’ time.
“It is still Monday morning, we will get something done.
“We are most likely going to be looking at one of the first notices under section 144 of the Electoral Act.
“We are working on it as we speak.”
