NEIGHBOURS Rewa and Suva will feature twice in the Digicel Fiji Premier League this weekend.
The two teams did not feature in the competition last week following their Pillay Garments Champion versus Champion commitments to determine Fiji’s representative for the 2023 Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Champions League.
Suva eventually won the series, beating Rewa 2-1 in the second leg after the first match ended in a one-all draw.
They will clash in the DFPL at 7pm at the Uprising Sports Centre in Navua tomorrow.
On Saturday, Ba will host Nadroga at the Fiji Football Academy Ground in Namosau at 3pm.
In Sunday’s fixtures, Tailevu Naitasiri will clash with Rewa at the Uprising Sports Centre at 1pm while Navua will play Tavua at 3pm in a double header.
Also at 3pm, Suva will host Labasa at the HFC Bank Stadium while Nadi will face off against Lautoka at the same time at a venue to be decided.
Fiji FA competitions manager Amitesh Pal said all teams would be on equal par after this weekend’s fixtures.
DFPL points: Lautoka 3, Nadi 3, Tailevu Naitasiri 3, Ba 1, Navua 1, Rewa 0, Suva 0, Nadroga 0, Tavua 0, Labasa 0.
