Ravouvou, Rawaca in top form

FIJIANS Vatemo Ravouvou and Savenaca Rawaca will go into the Las Vegas tournament leading the most points scored table, most conversions and the most clean breaks made in the 2015/16 World Rugby HSBC Sevens series so far.

Nadi man Ravouvou still leads the most points scored table ahead of Canadian Nathan Hirayama and Frenchman Terry Bouhraoua with 202 points after four tournaments according to World Rugby website stats.

Hirayama is on 145 points and Bouhraoua is currently settling at 139 points.

And Fiji’s conversions is not so bad after all as Ravouvou also leads with the most conversions standing at 71 with USA’s Maddison Hughes and Hirayama not even close with 49 and 45 conversion respectively.

The stats also reveal that Ravouvou is third in the most tackles made with 58 totals while Blitzboks’ Chris Dry at 71 and France’s Steve Barry at 63.

Bua man Rawaca who plays wing and at times a running forward in Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan’s line up will go into Vegas topping the table in the most clean breaks ahead of South African Seabelo Senatla and Samoa’s Samoa Toloa.

Rawaca is also three tries behind Sentla in the table of most tries scored at 22.

As a team, the Vodafone Fiji 7s side leads the most points in the series with 707, ahead of South Africa who is at 609 and New Zealand at 522.

In most tries, Fiji leads with 109, NZ sits at 86 tries and amazingly USA is on 77, third on the table.

In most conversions, Fiji is way ahead with 81 conversions leading South Africa at 67 and USA at 57.

The three teams that currently at a draw with 69 points in the series table so far are also the top three teams with yellow cards having six all and NZ having won the only back to back win so far has recorded a red card.

Fiji and South Africa are equal with 24 matches played while South Africa leads with the most tackles made; France is at second with 418 below South Africa’s 534 and ahead of Fiji’s 417 tackles made in the previous four tournaments of the current HSBC Sevens series.
