The Army rugby league side defeated Police 28-6 to win the rugby league competition in the Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl Competition, at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

Both teams began the match at a steady pace.

However Army charged with passion for the try line on several occasions and left their opponents scrambling to place a point.

Following the match, Sanaila Vala of Army was named the Man of the Match.
