SEVENS Olympian Timaima Ravisa will be venturing into a new journey from tomorrow as she chases a spot in the New Zealand-based Vodafone Warriors National Rugby League women’s team.

The renowned former Fijiana player showed her interest to switch to rugby league after being contacted by Fiji National Rugby League (FNRL) to join in the extended squad to the Pacific Games.

Shortly after, Ravisa had been offered an opportunity by Vodafone Warriors to try out for the team to the 2019 Holden Premiership NRLW competition.

Ravisa is among two other local Fijian women who have been selected in the 34-member Vodafone Warriors training squad after impressing officials at the trials last month.
