Oceania 7s: Tonga lands spots in HSBC 7s Series

THE Tongan men’s side is through to the Sydney and Hamilton tournaments after finish as the best side behind World Sevens Series core teams at the Oceania 7s.

Tonga defeated Cook Islands 29-12 to finish  fifth and secure their spot as an invitational team in both tournaments.
Both teams however will compete at the Hong Kong 7s qualification tournament for a chance to win a core spot in the 2019/2020 series.
