POLICE officer and lone Fiji Pearls player named in the Fiji under-21 netball team for the Digicel Punjas International Netball Youth Series 2017, Episake Kahatoka is ready to take on Samoa, Australia and New Zealand in Suva this week.
The 20-year-old said the players were ready after sacrificing celebrations of the festive season to train for the event.
“There is no pressure really, we are just sticking to the basics and play the game that we love,” Kahatoka said.
“I am ready.”
She urges members of the public to come out in huge numbers and show their support to the national U21 team .
The competition starts on Wednesday.
