Naupoto elected new FNRL board chairman

THE Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto, has been elected as the new Fiji National Rugby League chairman in the board’s first meeting in Suva today.

Naupoto signaled it was a new moment for rugby league in Fiji and that he and the newly-elected board would do their part.

“We will continue the hard work of the previous board, we have a wealth of experience and we are ready to give back to rugby league as much as we can,” Naupoto said.

The newly-elected board also includes Tevita Korosaya, Taniela Vakamoce, Napolioni Batimala, Reverend Ilaitia Tagituimua and Aporosa Lutunauga.
