Fiji Bati skipper Kevin Naiqama scored a hat-trick for St Helens in their 48-2 win over the Catalans Dragons on Sunday.

The win sees the defending champion play in a record 12th grand final of the Super League championship. Coach Kristian Woolf said they were outstanding.

“I was really happy with the way we attacked,” he told the St Helens Star. St Helens will face Wigan in the final to determine the best team in the competition.

“The kicking was outstanding and they played some footy,” he said. “We played to our strengths tonight and backed that up with some outstanding defence.

I am really happy with that. “Catalans are a very dangerous side with some world-class players and that is what makes the performance so good.
