CROWDS are slowly filling in at the Uprising Beach Resort for the popular annual Vonu Uprising Festival of Music, Dance & Lights.
This year marks the 10th year for the festival which continues to draw many visitors from both Fiji and overseas.
Twelve acts are expected to be performed at the show. These include Resonate, Sassy, The Relativ, Inside Out, Soundwave of the Pacific, Vou, Blue Monk ft Tom Mawi, Quarters and Blue Vein.
Local singer Annie Mawi of the Tom Mawi Band said it was great to be back again at the event where she last sang at 10 years ago.
“It’s about people having a great time and enjoying local music at its best,” she said.
