The students of Naroi District School and Yasayasa Moala College in Lau were happy to welcome the Education Minister, Aseri Radrodro and other government officials to their schools last week.
The visit allowed not only students and teachers, but also the parents and the community to meet the minister.
The school organsied a traditional welcome for the minister and government officials followed by meke performances from the students.
In a speech, Mr Radrodro emphasised on the importance of collaboration in education.
The Ministry of Education reports that Mr Radrodro highlighted the need for collective efforts from all stakeholders like parents, teachers, government and the community in providing the best support for children.
Mr Radrodro said by working together, they could empower future generations and create a brighter tomorrow for the students of Moala.
He called for unity and commitment to ensuring that every child receives the education they deserve. The visit was part of a government official tour in the Lau Group last week.
