NETBALL Fiji has revealed the final 12 members of the Fiji Men’s Netball Team who will be competing at the upcoming Singapore Men’s Nations Cup from December 2-8.
Head coach Jioweli Vakamoce shared that following a stringent selection process, the management has chosen the top 12 players to represent Fiji at the prestigious tournament.
Vakamoce emphasised that the selection decision took into account a variety of factors such as individual strengths and weaknesses, performance, attitude, attendance to training sessions, teamwork, on-court skills, and leadership qualities.
“The team is in the final stages of preparation and continues to work hard,” said Vakamoce.
“We had our Court Skills training on Friday, which was a Public Holiday. We trained from 7am to 10am.
“This is also the beginning of phase three, and our full one-hour game will be every Saturday after Activation and Abs training.
“We also continued with our gym workout sessions with an increase in weight as per schedule given.”
Netball Fiji CEO, Ms. Vivian Koster expressed her excitement about the development of the Men’s program and encouraged fans to support the team as they strive to make their mark on the international stage.
