Restrictions have been placed on journalists from entering the Opposition chambers in Parliament.

Speaking to journalists outside Parliament this afternoon, Opposition Leader Sitiveni Rabuka said he queried this new rule.

“I asked that this morning, I said what that is for? To stop people from spinning at us with your cameras,” Mr Rabuka said.

“We have tried to restrict access but we are available to come outside and speak, we don’t want to interfere with MPs sitting open desks where they do their work.”
