MALOLO and Kadavu have gained promotion to next year’s Skipper Cup and ANZ Marama Championship competitions respectively.
This after both teams managed to finish in the top two positions of their respective Promotion/Relegation competitions.
Malolo lost narrowly 21-20 to Vatukoula however, it was enough to ensure them a top two finish.
Namosi will maintain its spot in the Skipper Cup after a convincing 25-14 win over Yasawa. Yasawa will be relegated to the Vanua Trophy competition.
In the women’s division, Tailevu thrashed Navosa 41-30 to ensure its spot in the ANZ Marama competition next year. Kadavu will also feature in the top tier after a 19-5 away win against Cakaudrove yesterday.
Navosa will be relegated and will join Cakaudrover in the Ranadi competition next year.
