IT was a proud but emotional day for Nasinu football captain Manasa Levaci when his team beat Labasa 2-nil in the Vodafone Premier League yesterday.
Levaci, who is originally from Labasa, scored the opening goal from the penalty spot in the win.
With tears in his eyes, his said it will be a day he will always remember.
“Well I do not have word to say. I grew up watching some of these(Labasa) players play. It was a dream win for us but I must say the boys played their hearts out. Labasa is not an easy team to beat and they were no different today.’ He said.
Levaci adds that the focus will now turn towards the next match.
“This match is behind us now. We have secured the three points and now we will try and win our next match.” he added.
Nasinu plays Suva in its next match at 3pm this Sunday at Suva’s ANZ Stadium.
