Lautoka residents urged to be vigilant when buying phones

CONSUMER Council of Fiji CEO Seema Shandil has urged Lautoka residents to be more more vigilant when purchasing mobile phones.

She made the comment while opening a council organised workshop on counterfeit mobile phones at the Tanoa Waterfront Hotel this morning.

Ms Shandil said there were potential health and environmental risks associated with the purchase and use of fake phones.
