Nasinu and Labasa are the 2025 Fiji Primary Schools IDC under-14 champions.
In the boy’s U14 division, Nasinu beat Rewa 1-0 in a thrilling encounter on Friday afternoon at Prince Charles Park in Nadi to secure the title.
Rewa headed into the finals as favourites being the only undefeated team from the group stages, but a disciplined defensive effort and a quick counterattack by Nasinu proved decisive, denying Rewa any chance for a comeback as they held on to win.
In the semi-finals, Rewa beat Seaqaqa 1–0, while Nasinu edged Ba 1–0.
In the girls U14 division, Labasa clinched the title in a 2-1 win over Ba.
It was a tough encounter with both teams drew 1-all at fulltime but a determined Labasa outfit scored in the dying moments of the extra time to the delight of their fans.
