THE Labasa football side is anticipating a tough challenge when they take field for the first match of the 2019 Pillay Garments Champion versus Champion (CvC) series at Churchill Park in Lautoka this Friday.
Coach Ronil Lal said the preparation is going well.
He said the players are focused and responding well during the training sessions.
“Preparation is going on well despite having few challenges faced like the availability of players,” Lal said.
“But the the players are focused for these two games and we are doing our best in the training sessions.”
Lal is requesting the Labasa fans to have patience with the team and keeping showing their support.
“CvC will be very challenging for Labasa.
“Request to the fans to have patience as we are back from the break and trying our best to get match fitness.
“Do come and support the team.”
The first match is scheduled to kickoff at 7pm while the second leg will be played at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori on Sunday at 3pm.
