Simon Koroiyadi’s sacrifices are slowly paying dividends as the 19-year-old has been named in the Sports World Fiji Rugby under-20 side to the Junior World Championship beginning at the end of this month.

Koroiyadi, son of former Fiji U18 captain and one-Test Flying Fijians player Maku Koroiyadi, left England last month to attend trials in Fiji.

He is one of the eight overseas-based players selected by head coach Apisai Sailada.

Fiji is in Pool A with England, Argentina, and South Africa. The tournament will begin on June 30.
