High Court judge Justice Sekonaia Vodokisolomone has ordered the State file bench warrants for Faris Khan and Mohammed Ramjan for failing to appear in court yesterday.
The duo are charged alongside Salendra Sen Sinha with aggravated robbery and theft, allegedly committed in 2021 in Lautoka.
Mr Ramjan’s counsel, Benazir Muhammed, told the court her client usually attended proceedings.
Justice Vodokisolomone told the State counsel the matter could not proceed without the two bench warrant reports for Mr Ramjan and Mr Khan.
The court heard that Justice Vodokisolomone questioned the State about why the counsel in carriage was unable to give full instructions.
He said the respective bench warrant orders would need to be filed by the next scheduled date.
The matter has been adjourned to November 6.
