The Nadi rugby team has opted to keep a low profile in its buildup to the Farebrother Sullivan Trophy challenge against holders Namosi this Saturday.

The double-header match is a crucial one for both teams in their bid to cement their Skipper Cup semi-final spot.

Nadi has recorded a mixed bag of results in the Skipper Cup this season with five wins, one draw and six losses.

The Jetsetters need to win both remaining matches by a bonus point and hope that the other results go in their favour to make the top four in the competition.

Nadi Rugby Union executive Jeff Tamata said Namosi was certainly the team to beat this season. Tamata said they would face an uphill battle.

“We are keeping a low profile for this game,” he said.

“Namosi have successfully defended the trophy against Nadroga, Naitasiri, Yasawa.

“They will also have the home support on Saturday.

“When it comes to Farebrother Sullivan Trophy challenge you cannot count any team out.

“This is an important match with the Skipper Cup semi-final spot at stake as well.”
