A popular Japanese TV program will be featuring Fiji from January 18 to February 15, 2020 to its viewers on where to shop, eat, visit or stay.

This was announced by Tourism Fiji as they had been working with Tabi Salada on introducing the attractiveness of Fiji since 2019.

The episodes also include local customs, which the viewers can look forward to and be inspired.

According to the Tourism Fiji regional manager Asia, Kathy Koyamaibole, they were delighted Tabi Salada would feature the country and show Japanese audiences on the activities in Fiji.

“We welcome everyone to come find their happiness in Fiji,” she said.

Tourism Fiji stated Tabi Salada had been broadcasted nationally by All Nippon News Network (ANN) every Saturday morning since 1993.

It has been reported to be one of the most popular travel programs in Japan with about four million viewers.

“This program introduces travel information on both domestic and international destinations in 20 minute segments, usually covering one destination over four weeks,” stated Tourism Fiji.
