The Reddy Foundation, the charitable arm of the Reddy Group, has reaffirmed its support for cancer awareness and care with a $10,000 donation to the Fiji Cancer Society during the Pinktober Walk at the My Suva Picnic Park on Wednesday.
Established in 2015, the foundation has been a consistent partner of the Fiji Cancer Society, channelling contributions through Tanoa Hotels, one of the group’s major divisions.
Tanoa Hotel Group’s area general manager for Fiji Narend Kumar said the foundation’s work was about creating ripples of change.
“At Tanoa, we believe that small actions can create big change,” Mr Kumar said.
“By supporting the Fiji Cancer Society, we hope to ease the journey of those facing cancer and strengthen the network of care available to our communities.”
Company director Kamini Reddy said the foundation’s efforts carried forward the vision of her late father, Yanktesh Permal Reddy.
“This year’s theme reflects the group’s ongoing dedication to transforming awareness into action, carrying forward the vision of my late father, Yanktesh Permal Reddy, whose legacy of community empowerment continues to guide the company’s efforts in creating meaningful change in the communities we serve under the Reddy Foundation Program.”
Hotel staff, members of the community and supporters joined the walk to raise awareness and stand in solidarity with cancer survivors and families.
