Update: 11:49PM THE Vodafone Fiji sevens side defeated South Africa 15-0 in the quarter-final of the HSBC Sevens World Series Glasgow Sevens.
As expected, the match started off on a high note and it was not until five minutes when Semi Kunatani crossed over for Fiji’s first try.
Fiji led 7-0 at the break and a penalty in the second half gave a 10-0 lead.
With seconds left on the clock, Savenaca Rawaca scored Fiji’s second try.
Fiji will play USA, which defeated Australia 14-7, in the Cup semi-final at 2:58am Monday (Fiji time).
