Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum declined to comment yesterday on an allegation about his involvement in Government’s failed 2016 proposal to change the Fiji flag.

Commenting on the allegation made by former Fiji Government communications consultant Graham Davis, he said The Fiji Times should “focus on real news”.

Mr Davis had alleged that Mr Sayed-Khaiyum had personal reasons for wanting to change the flag.

Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama had already issued a statement in regards to Mr Davis’ comments in his blog site Grubsheet and it should be “left at that”.
