On and off the field, Akosita Ravato is a winner. The mother of two is a loose forward in the Fijiana XV side that demolished Samoa 31-24 to scoop the Oceania Rugby Women’s Championship over the weekend.
Her biggest fans are her two sons. Ravato is a shining example of how a woman can successfully juggle work, rugby and being a mum.
Ravato said she took up the challenge to prove that despite being a mother, nothing was going to stop her from achieving her full potential.
