Flying Fijians fullback paid tributes to his fallen hero

FIJI Airways Flying Fijians fullback Metuisela Talebula will be playing for Fiji for the first time without his number one fan and late dad, Sunia Talebula Snr.

The mercurial utility backline was in the country last month to bid farewell his fallen hero- who had guided his rugby career to be the player he is today.

Speaking from Scotland this morning the former Fiji 7s playmaker thanked the Almighty Lord for his blessing after making a return in the Flying Fijians outfit after a lapse of three years.

Talebula last represented Fiji at the 2015 Rugby World Cup and was a member of the Lelean Memorial team that won the coveted Fiji Rugby School Deans title in 2009 and 2010.

The former France Top 14 top try scorer has been playing at centres throughout this season in France and is expected to tussle the number 15 jumper against Setareki Tuicuvu and Aliveretu Veitokani in the match against Scotland on Sunday.
