Fiji Met radar shows rain bands across the country

A flood alert has been upgraded to a flood warning by the Fiji Meteorological Service.

Areas under the flood warning are Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Tavua, Rakiraki, interior Ra and Tailevu North.

“Current situation radar estimates and gauge observation data shows rainfall amounts ranging from 30mm to 60mm over the past 12 hours,” states Fiji Met.

Fiji Met is forecasting rainfall in the next 24-hours will range between 70mm and 100mm in the Western half and interior of Viti Levu.
