THE Telecom Fijiana side left the country on Monday night for round three of the World Rugby Women’s Sevens Series in Atlanta, USA.
The Iliesa Tanivula-coached team is grouped in Pool B with Australia, France and Spain in the tournament which will be held on March 14 and 15.
Coach Tanivula said the team was still adapting to the top level competition.
“We are still learning but as long as we are doing that, we want to compete and compete well,” Tanivula said.
Former Fijiana coach Elenoa Kunatuba has high expectations from the team.
“It’s quite an experienced team. I’m sure if they put their heads in together, they will reach the semi-final in Atlanta,” Kunatuba said.
Fiji is placed eighth on the series points table with 14 points.
