The Fiji under-20 game today is an all-important one for both teams as they try and secure their first win of the tournament.

The Fiji U20 side faces Australia in its second match at the 2022 Oceania Rugby U20 Championship at the Sunshine Coast Stadium in Australia at 6pm.

The Fijians were hammered 74-5 in their opening match by New Zealand, while Australia had a narrow 21-24 upset loss to Argentina in the opening round.

Fiji needs to avoid finishing at the bottom of the standings in this tournament.

If it does, Fiji will be demoted to the U20 Trophy tournament which consists of mostly Tier Two nations.

Fiji’s last match is against Argentina at 4pm on Sunday.
