Fiji Pine Limited has extended operations to Cakaudrove and will soon establish it’s eighth station in Natewa, Cakaudrove.
In a release, the company said this was a significant step forward in ensuring it brings sustainable development and economic opportunities for Natewa.
Company Executive Chairman Ratu Rakuita Vakalalabure said the station would include an office, nursery and staff quarters.
“Fiji Pine is proud to announce the expansion of its pine plantation in the Natewa,” the statement says. “Plans are now underway to establish a fully-fledged operational base.”
He was in Natewa with landowners at the work site reaffirming the company’s strong commitment to revive pine operations in the region.
“Together, we are growing a greener and stronger future,” Ratu Rakuita said
