Fiji FA ends soccer season

THE Fiji Football Association 2024 season has officially concluded with the
Cecil’s National Club Championship final taking place at the Fiji Football
Academy grounds in Suva on Sunday.
Labasa Northpole FC emerged as the champion of the NCC after defeating
Buiduna 6-3 in the final.
Fiji Football general manager operations, Anushil Kumar, expressed his
satisfaction with the success of the National Club Championship.
He said they were pleased to end the season on a high note and were looking
forward to the upcoming 2025 season.
“Yes, the Cecil’s National Clubs Championship 2024,
I would tag it as a success.
We know that we have come to a good conclusion for the football season
2024,” said Anushil.
“This tournament, we’re thankful to the Almighty for giving us the good
weather.”
Kumar extended his congratulations to Northpole FC from Labasa for
securing the title and bringing glory to the North, while also commending
Buiduna for their impressive performance in the competition.
“With the season officially ending, the teams are already gearing up for the
next season, which is set to kick off in February.”
Kumar expressed his excitement for the future of football in Fiji and is
optimistic about what lies ahead.
