Fiji Football executives will be in the Northern Division today on a site visitation of the Fiji FA Labasa Academy and meeting with stake-holders in Macuata and Bua.

“We will be there to meet with the builders and design consultants in Labasa to see the progress,” confirmed chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf.

“It is a $5.5 million project and we are nearing about 70 per cent completion.”

Yusuf said besides the site visit they would meet with Seaqaqa Football Association officials and later hold an open forum at Lekutu Secondary School in Bua to meet with stakeholders and members of the public to map a way forward for football development in Bua.

“It is an open forum and we want to get as much dialogue as possible to plan a way forward and help expand the game in Bua.”

The Fiji FA delegation will be led by Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel, the chief executive officer and will be joined in Labasa by northern division vice presidents Edwin Chand and Girja Prasad and north development officers Sanaila Bera and Shamal Kumar.
