FIJI’S Industry, Tourism and Trade Minister Faiyaz Koya opened the 2018 Fiji Australia Business Forum at the Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay today.

He informed 146 Fijian and Australian business leaders and Government officials that Fiji had never been as ready as it had been for investment and trade opportunities.

Australian Assistant Minister for Tourism and Investment Mark Coulton, who also spoke at the event, said Fiji was an important partner for Australia.

Mr Koya and Mr Coulton will also hold talks today and one of the key issues is expected to be Fiji not signing the biggest trade agreement for the Pacific called PACER Plus.
