The Digicel Premier League heads into the fifth round this weekend with another four great matches lined up.

Defending champs Suva will be out to regain top honors when they face Lautoka on Sunday.

The two cities are locked on seven points each on the standings however, the whites have the edge over the Blues on goal differential.

Lautoka go into the match after an impressive 2-1 win over Ba in the last round.

The battle of cities is going to be a cracker and the winner could lead the standings after the completion of this round.

The Suva-Lautoka match kicks off at 4pm at Churchill Park on Sunday.

Fans will get to see a double header in Lautoka as at 2pm, Rewa battles Nadroga.

Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park is currently not available which has forced the Delta Tigers to play its home game in Lautoka.

Rewa edged Navua 2-1 in the last round giving them their first win of the season while Nadroga succumbed to their second consecutive defeat at the hands of Labasa.

Two matches will kick off at 3pm on Sunday.

Table leaders Ba travel to Pacific Harbour to play the struggling Navua side. Navua has only a point from four matches so far while Ba has seven.

Ba coach Kamal Swamy will be without three key players in Praneel Naidu, Ilimotama Jese and Avinesh Warran Swamy who will sit out this match due to suspension.

On the other hand, Navua will miss the services of young Thomas Dunn who is out serving a one match suspension.

In another match kicking off at the same time, Nadi hosts Labasa at Prince Charles Park.

Labasa is the only undefeated team in the competition and interestingly is yet to concede a goal in the competition.

Nadi, after just one point from the first two games, have bounced back to record back to back wins against Lautoka and Suva.

All in all, only two points separate the top six teams in the competition and there’s only a one point gap between the two bottom-placed teams.

If that’s’ anything to go by, it’s a clear indication of how tough this year’s national league is going to be!!
