The 2023 Digicel Premier League will be launched at the Fiji Football Association house in Suva this Saturday with a corporate-themed function.
Fiji FA chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf said they were doing things differently this year.
“The launch will be a big event,” Yusuf said.
“It will be held separately. Before it used to be held during the opening round match.”
The DPL is set to kick off on February 19.
However the opening will be held on February 11 at the Fiji FA House.
“It will be a unique event as we forge a better relationship with our partners to help develop the sport in the country.”
