COVID-19: Court remands man charged for disobedience of lawful order

A 29-year-old man was produced at the Lautoka Magistrates Court today for breaching the nationwide curfew hours.

Shelvin Prakash, 29, of Saru Back Road faced a count of disobedience of lawful order and was produced before Magistrate Sekonaia Vodokisolomone.

He has been remanded in custody to reappear on April 8.

Four people were also produced in the Rakiraki Magistrates Court for breaching lawful order.

Jijiwa Karavaki, Tevita Ravato, Arieta Marama and Sione Koroi have all been bailed by Magistrate Lisiate Fotofili.
